Anonymous calculator use
You can use core calculators without an account. We do not ask for a name, email, shipping address, customer address, browser fingerprint, or precise location to show a result. If product analytics is enabled, calculator events use an anonymous session identifier and bucketed inputs/results rather than sensitive SKU names or exact customer data.
Retention
Raw anonymous calculator events are configured for a maximum of 90 days before deletion or aggregation. Aggregated statistics may be kept longer when they cannot reasonably identify a person. Saved account data remains until the user deletes it or deletes the account.
Accounts
When Supabase Auth is configured, email magic links identify the account. Products, SKUs, boxes, projects, and saved calculations are stored only after an authenticated user chooses to save them. Row Level Security restricts rows to their owner.
Analytics, advertising, and cookies
Advertising is disabled by default. Analytics, AdSense, and consent tools run only when their environment configuration is enabled. EEA, UK, and Switzerland consent requires a Google-certified CMP integration; the code does not pretend a custom banner alone provides compliance.
Your choices
Account users can delete saved records, clear history, export their data, and request account deletion. Contact privacy@shipmargin.com for privacy requests.
